Welcome to the Thames Valley Explore League (TVEL).  Our purpose is to promote recreational rowing events in the Thames region to open our great sport up to everyone.

What events do we host?

We run a league in which crews win points for their performance.  There are straight races or various (usually short-ish) distances or skills days, where the crews perform a number of set skills out on the water in a timed circuit.    Our member clubs also host other events which are not part of the league but are just put on for recreational rowers to take part in a fun event.

Who is eligible to take part?

Anyone who does not have any rowing points under the old points system.

How do I take part?

If you live near one of our member clubs, great!  Get in touch with them and join and you'll be able to take part in TVEL events.  If you don't live near an existing member club, please contact Jon Neale
