Ireland

Brian Roberts, President of Graiguenamanagh Rowing Club and owner of the Waterside Guest House, is able to offer tours for up to 20 people on the scenic waterways around Kilkenny.  Here's a letter we received from him recently:

"We are back in action. After two difficult years for everyone it is great to hear stories of rowing clubs everywhere getting back to normal and enjoying life on the water. It also seems like people are now confident enough to consider overseas travel again. And so we are getting everything ready at Irish Rowing Adventures to welcome clubs back to Ireland. We would love to see more clubs come and experience our rowing, our lovely countryside, our heritage, and our people.

The rivers Barrow, Nore and Suir, as well as Blessington Lakes, are wonderful places to row and we will be doing everything possible to make your club trip a brilliant experience."

Details of this year's tours, which you can book directly with The Waterside, are here Graiguenamanach 2024.pdf
